Fashion is the essence of my being; it is my passion and my devotion. I am dedicated to transforming ideas into reality, breathing life into each garment I create.

The highlight of my childhood was receiving homemade paper dolls from my grandmother. Her hand-drawn creations and meticulously crafted outfits sparked a profound sense of creativity and self-expression within me. Traveling as a child fostered my love of art.
My life took a pivotal turn in my final year of high school when my parents separated. I faced a critical decision: remain in the familiar or move 1000 miles away to pursue my passion at SCAD. Leaving behind my little sister and mother was not easy, but it allowed me to flourish.

The resilience and determination displayed by the influential women in my life has profoundly shaped my aspirations. They fueled my drive to excel and honor their legacy by pushing the boundaries of creativity and leadership. My goal is to become a creative director, guiding and supporting my peers while also forging a path for future leaders in fashion.

My senior collection, Preserve the Purloined, represents this journey. It merges traditional suiting with leather, velvet, and rib knit, creating a luxurious heist aesthetic. Each piece is designed to transform the wearer into a living work of art, mirroring the narrative of art theft and allure. By juxtaposing industrial hardware with hand-braided accessories and mixing traditional with modern fabrics; I aim to embody a sense of feminine authority while evoking the mystery and grandeur of grand larceny.
I wish to inspire a renewed appreciation for the art that surrounds us and celebrate the rich tapestry of history and personal experience. I want my work to resonate deeply, reflecting the same strength and creativity that has guided me throughout my journey. In doing so, I hope to contribute to a transformative shift in the fashion industry and to inspire others as I have been inspired by the remarkable women in my life.
